Expert Circumcision Services at Solitaire Medical Group Men’s Clinic
What is Circumcision?
How we perform this procedure:
We perform this surgery under local anaesthetic with a traditional approach and with the latest ShangRing, Plastibell, or stapler circumcision. Discuss it with Dr Khaleel during consultation time before surgery.
Circumcision is a personal decision and should be made based on individual circumstances, preferences, and cultural or religious beliefs. It’s important to discuss the risks and benefits of circumcision with the doctor before making a decision.
Post-op care:
- After the procedure, the surgical area is typically wrapped in a sterile dressing to protect the area.
- Pain medication may be prescribed to manage any discomfort.
- Keep the area clean: Gently wash the penis with warm water and mild soap every day. Avoid scrubbing or rubbing the area.
- Avoid tight clothing: Loose-fitting clothing can help prevent irritation and allow for proper airflow to the healing area.
- Avoid strenuous activities: Limit physical activity for proper healing for a few days after the procedure.
- Monitor for signs of infection: Watch for signs of infection, such as increased redness, swelling, or pus-like drainage from the wound. Contact the clinic if you notice any signs of infection.
- Follow-up appointments: Attend any scheduled appointments with your doctor to ensure proper healing and address concerns.
